Frequently Asked Questions
What translation of Scripture do you use? Preference is given to the WGV translation of Scripture. This is a literal word for word translation from the original Hebrew and Greek. It is not the easiest of translations to read because it retains the actual word order of the original languages, but it is highly accurate and precise in meaning. For ease of use, the KJV is sometimes used at this time.
Are You a Christian? It seems to come up frequently that people do not realize that not all believers in the Messiah as Savior are Christian. A second major group are those in Messianic Judaism. A third group are those who follow Scripture only without the traditions of the Bishops or the Rabbis. I fall into the third group.
I cannot be defined as a Christian believer because I do not accept the key Christian concepts of New Testament Theology / dispensationalism, trinitarianism, nor the apostolic authority of the bishops. Neither do I accept the traditions that come from these major concepts such as the change in the Sabbath day.
I cannot be defined as a Messianic believer
because I do not accept the key Messianic Judaism concepts of the Oral Torah and the Rabbinical interpretation of Scripture. Neither do I accept the sanctified traditions of the Rabbis.
I do, however, believe that all who accept the Messiah as Savior have their names written in the book of life and thus consider each as brethren although we have some doctrinal differences.
