The Discipline of Faith

The Challenge of Faith

Without faith, very little is possible. Faith is the most difficult of the disciplines. We are constantly challenged by our flesh and logic to trust in the Almighty's promises of love and care. We are further challenged by patiently waiting on actions to occur in the spiritual that we cannot see.

Trusting the Almighty

One of the most important 'basic' building blocks of our walk with Elohim is that of 'faith'. Everything is built upon this block. Do we believe (trust, accept, hold) that YHVH wants us to be His children and will love us so? Do we believe that Yahshua went to the cross and died for us so that we may have eternal life with Him and the Father? Do we believe that the Almighty truly is All Mighty and that He can perform any miracle and do any wonder in our lives? Do we actually seek His counsel, guidance, and help in our lives? Are we willing to follow (act on, have strength in) what His word says to do even if it does not conform to what society thinks is most logical? Are we following man's ways our His ways? That answer says a lot about where our faith rests. If we cannot honestly say to ourselves that we are doing our best to do what He says is right and avoid what He says is wrong, we are not getting this particular basic right most of the time.
